The Links, Tain

The Links in Tain is the venue for St Duthus v Halkirk United this weekend as both sides go searching for their first League wins of the season. Stuart Ross’s men halted a run of five straight league defeats last time out when they drew with Thurso, scoring a last-minute goal to snatch a point, and will be looking to build on that result this weekend. The Anglers have had a tough start to the new campaign having suffered defeats in all their games so far this season. The previous meetings between the sides have always produced goals, with 23 being scored between the two sides since St Duthus rejoined the North Caledonian League, so Saturday should be a good watch for the neutral.
