Today is North Caledonian Cup day, as Invergordon welcome Thurso to Recreation Ground for the first Semi Final. Gary Campbell’s men come into the game on the back of two away wins against Inverness Athletic and will be aiming to book their place in the final for the first time since the 2016/17 season, when they lost out to Golspie Sutherland. The Vikings head south on the back of a home league defeat to Orkney and will look to rediscover the form that saw them record back to back league win against Halkirk and Bunillidh in November.

It’s a rerun of the Football Times Cup final today as Alness United welcome Golspie Sutherland to the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall for the second Semi Final of the North Caledonian Cup. The home side are still to taste defeat this season in all competitions, with a draw away to Orkney the only blot on their impressive copy book. The visitors will come into the game looking to avenge that Football Times Cup final defeat in October as they aim to secure a place in the North Caledonian Cup final for the 4th year in a row.

Morrison Park in Halkirk is the venue for Halkirk United v Inverness Athletic, as both sides look to get back to winning ways in the MacLeod & MacCallum North Caledonian League. The host will see the visit of Athletic as a fantastic opportunity to chalk up their first home win of the season as they look to drag themselves away from the bottom of the League. Athletic will hope for a similar result on their last visit to Caithness, when the ran out 4-2 winners over Thurso, as they themselves look to get the 3 points that will see them close the gap on the top four.

St Duthus welcome Bunillidh Thistle to The Links in Tain today looking to avenge the result from the reverse fixture earlier in the season. The Saints have been in good form of late, chalking up three league wins on the trot before falling just short against Alness United last time out for their first defeat in five games. The Jags come into the game having suffered back to back derby defeats at the hands of Golspie Sutherland, albeit both games were very close and hotly contested affairs. Dean Cowie's side ran out 6-4 winners last time the sides as they aim to do they league double over the Saints and in doing so pull themselves away from the foot of the table.
