Week 25 Preview
As the title race hots up there are some mouth-watering fixtures this weekend. Leaders Invergordon will want to finish their league campaign on a winning note when the host Thurso. Golspie Sutherland clash with Alness United in another 'must win' match, while fellow title contenders Orkney welcome Inverness Athletic to Kirkwall. Halkirk United and St Duthus meet in what promises to be an intriguing fixture.
Golspie Sutherland v Alness United

Golspie Sutherland welcome back Ally MacLeod, Grant MacNab and Graham MacNab for their home clash against Alness United. The influential trio missed the 3-0 win against Jock MacKay Cup quarter-final opponents Halkirk United in mid-week. However, John Budge is suspended and Robbie Murray is still on holiday. Alness United head to Golspie minus a number of regulars. Gordon Finlayson and Jack Hudson are suspended, while Craig Munro, David Murray, Scott MacAngus, Jack Mackay and Jude Fraser are unavailable.
Halkirk United v St Duthus

Will Ross returns to the Saints squad for this weekends trip North.

Halkirk United are another team struggling for numbers when they face St Duthus at Morrison Park. The injured Stewart Sinclair has been ruled out for the Anglers, while another five of Gordon MacDonald's players are unavailable. Cammy Mackintosh, Will Ross and Charlie MacDonald return to a Saints' side looking to get back to winning ways. However, Saints' manager Stuart Ross wil be without the services of Sam Beeston due to work commitments.
Invergordon v Thurso

Invergordon will be without the influential Aaron Christie for this weekend’s visit of Thurso due to suspension.

Invergordon will be without experienced defender Arron Christie, who is suspended, for their final league fixture of the season against Thurso. Ken Morrison could also miss out for Gary Campbell's men. The big forward was injured after scoring against Golspie last week and is a major doubt. Thurso, boosted by their victory against St Duthus last weekend, welcome back top scorer James Murray and Aidan Reid. However, Sean Stewart misses out with an knee injury, while Benn Murray is struggling with a groin injury.
Orkney v Inverness Athletic

Charlie Always' Orkney side are expected to be at full strength when they host Inverness Athletic at Kirkwall Grammar School. Shane Carlings' Athletic are back in action after an enforced two-week break. They have injury concerns over Phil MacDonald, Ian Penwright and Michael McRobert, who picked up knocks in a mid-week friendly match.
